About This Workshop
A starter’s guide to electronic music production with Ableton Live. Ideal for beginners, we explore:
- intro to midi
- working with samples
- session view: clips, scenes, sends & returns
- arrangement view: track structure, effects, export

When & Where?
I offer lessons in design software, for individuals and small groups, in the Berlin area. I’m flexible with dates and times, and can come to wherever in Berlin is most convenient for you.
What You’ll Need
Your own computer, with a copy of the software already installed. (Ableton also offers a free trial version).
About The Teacher
Since 2003, I’ve taught subjects including Audiovisual Media, Video Post-Production, Interactive & Online Media, Typography, Print Design, Motion Graphics, and Sequence & Narrative. I’ve taught at institutions including Macromedia MHMK (Berlin and Hamburg), Catalyst (formerly dBs Berlin), Leuphana University (Hamburg), University of Technology Sydney (of which I’m also a graduate, with first class honours), TAFE NSW, ArtConnect Berlin, SuperMarkt and überlin.
